UNOFFICIAL HIATUS as of august 2009

Hello and welcome to my site, Ace Movie Productions. And as you might've guessed, I go by ace. Showcased on this site are various forms of my art work. From videos, to the cover banners for said videos, to some of the headers changed for the site monthly. Also featured are a few awesome affiliates and several awards I have managed to win with my videos. I disclaim that I created any of the footage used in my vids or that I took the pictures used in my artwork. Now that we've settled that, search my site and please enjoy yourself. And leaving comments doesn't hurt either ;)

Finally an update. A lot has happened personally and the site has been on an unnofficial hiatus for nearly a year now. (I did some page updating without posting about it here on the main page). Okay so I am no longer a banner maker at Breaking The Chain Awards, although I did have a lot of fun participating there. I will also no longer be making graphics at all. My old computer crashed and destroyed my program and i have no patience for the programs applicable to my shiny new expensive computer. I still make videos, better quality, more imaginative. But as there is little to no traffic at my beloved site I am thinking about shutting it down altogether. I thank those of you who do visit and enjoy my hardwork. 

However I am not completely off the grid, my youtube account name is aceatamp and though most of my videos have been flagged and deleted upon upload I will make a sever effort to keep my passion alive.

Okay so more of a drive-by update. Awards are totaled up at 118, woohoo! Gallery had be subject to a tiny update, 5 or 6 pieces tops. Round 15 Awards are up at (made by me) I also managed to win 3 awards there for the only video i've ever made that i am really proud of :) Another note, layout update incase you didn't notice. Smaller versions of the banner are in the Gallery update. Sadly no new vids yet, my muse has gone and ditched me for awhile in the dept. Okay that's all I have time for, enjoy the updates and go participate at BTCA!

Okay kiddies. I've updated the awards section. 9 new awards, and 106 awards overall!

Mmkay so 4 awards are from Spotted Cat Awards, thanx to Leah, and 5 awards from Diamond Galaxy Awards, thanx to The Wolf. Awarded vids are Legend, Darkest Turn, Remember Us, and Stoic. I'm working on a new youtube account so i'll try and put up some vids in the next month or so.

Also, I am attempting to update the gallery at this very moment, things aren't ging so well but i'm trying! :]

Updated the jukebox, oh and theres a new banner in case no one noticed. Features Edward/Bella from my favorite Twilight series.

Okay so I hope everyone is having a great summer and I'll be back with more updates! 

Okay, so I know I've been gone awhile. Sorry about that. But this dry spell is really killing me. That and my computer is dying a slow and painful death so i'm rushing with everything else I've got on my plate. I recently however won several awards.

6 awards at Spotted Cat Awards [the link can be found in my affiliates section]

and technically 3 at The Moons Of Iego [their link can also be found in the affiliates section]

 So I say techincally because Aeryn didn't receive enough votes for the challenge via e-mail so she had to resort to the ratings in the gallery which are almost always unreliable. Now I admit I never went in and voted for anything myself though I really wanted to, but I ended up winning 1st and 2nd and tieing for 3rd. Now I appreciate those who voted but I found it kind of hard to accept the awards wholeheartedly as excited as I was.  So I won't be counting them towards the total in the awards section, even though it would have meant reaching my goal of 100 awards. It was a bittersweet victory that I can't help but feel I didn't really earn. So yeah, more bitter than sweet. But I thank Aeryn for the award cause it does look really great and I appreciate it.

And I want to give a huge thanks to Leah over at SCA who gave me not only my favorite award for 'Best Video' but also my SECOND EVER 'Best Vidder' award. WOOHOO!

Lastly, I'm so excited about the twilight phenomena this year, first chapter of Midnight Sun and of Breaking Dawn in the new editing of Eclipse. I began reading the series this year and was  consequently addicted :]. The next book comes out in August, and the Twilight movie will be out in December! Also just finished reading 'Sunday's At Tiffany's' by James Patterson, he really is a beautifully talented writer. I recommend this one for the hopeless-romantics out there.

so yeah, it's been rough lately. my muse ditched me for awhile and all I've got is crap. I updated the awards though, my brightside, 91 total thus far. My brain seems to have ditched me as well. So yeah, more time off to create and bring up grades again. No hiatus, just updates only when I can. Same as it's always been :]

 another brightside is that I've been dangerously engrossed by the books of Stephanie Meyer, the 'Twilight' series that is. Jacob's an ass, and I'm all for Edward/Bella. I love it so much I started reading 'Twilight' like last Friday, and now I'm almost done with 'Eclipse'. The only reason it took me so long was because of school but now it's Spring Break so woo-hoo. I plan to visit amusement parks, take my mom to go see 'Juno'- because i couldn't stop talking about it i loved it so much, so she's pretty sure she'll like it too- (hopefully my sis too if I can talk her into it), and see 'The Other Boleyn Girl' if it kills me! j/k.

Okay so yeah I guess I lied a few updates ago, since this is the most updating I've done since  I started the site. So yeah beside the point. I've won ten awards total. 9 at Ladykate's site MICA, plus a wonderful review of my new HP video, "The 9th Crime". And I earned 2nd place for the 'Meadow Picnic' Challenge at Aeryn's site, MOI. So yeah getting amazingly close to the big 100 awards. My tagboard is kinda dead, I miss comments :[ But I kow yall got lives to live, but when you get the chance, check out the vids that are for upload. I'll also be updating the gallery by next week.

Okay so in all honesty this isn't really an update except to say a few things. On the nifty side I found an award that I had never noticed before. :] Ladies and Gents I give you the reall #31:

bringing my overal grand total of awards up 73. :]

I also put in some written reviews in the awards section, all thus far provided by Kelly at Paper Faces Awards. Oh yeah and I'm grounded so updates may be even more scarce than they already are :/

Hey guys Happy Belated New Year! I'm so sorry for not updating lately. I've been through the ringer that some might call "school".

 Anyways 10 new awards thanx to The X-Impulse, Loverly Suprise Video Awards, (ladykates new award site) Making It Count Awards, Poetry In Motion Awards, and Crystal Illusions.

 I'll be revamping the vids section slightly. Some vids will be up for download but not all.

Okay so interesting few weeks.

5. When tested, my intelligence proved quite a bit above average. However I only excel when i want to, if i slack off, consequences tend to be slightly horrific.

6. I have a tendancy to let my emotions get the best of me. I've always been a creative person first and foremost, and often times when i let my emotions go with the flow, i create something i absolutely love. I don't think art should ever be forced or rushed.

7. I write at fanfiction.net, however, i don't think i'll tell you my writing name just yet ;]

8. Me and my older sis fight a lot, we are nearly polar opposites, and i have often times said i hated her which isn't true. We just know pretty much everything about each other, but still i have some secrets i have shared with starngers that i feel she'll never understand. :( Yet in all honesty she has become the greatest friend i've ever had.

Okie-dokie, another teeny-tiny microscopic update. THREE new affiliates. Also I've updated my livejournal gallery. However, challenge 7 is still open for votes so please go vote if you can. Not necessarily for me but for whomever's wallpaper you think deserves the award. okay, so teeny-tiny update. I didn't want to add an entire gallery to freewebs, which would diminish my bandwidth and take hours to days to build. So I added a gallery page , just click on my image which will take you to my livejournal gallery! Now I know it hasn't been updated in ahwile, and I'm working on it, but it is still plentiful in older art works. So please enjoy and don't bash.

And I also got tired of opening a quiet page so I added my playlist that I've used on my myspace. It's got a lot of my favorite kind of music so I hope you'll all enjoy considering I enjoy a wide varity of sound.

Okay, so I'm going into English AP next year and it's summer so I've been uber busy or uber tired. Sorry but I've had a small dry-spell with awards. So what's new?

Hey all, sorry about the lack of updates. Just got through with TAKS and now... FINALS! oh joy (p.s. that was drenched with sarcasm) Anyway I have a new affiliate, I've also updated the art work in the video's section; officially adding two new fandoms: William Shakespear's Romeo and Juliet and Underworld.  Also updated is the awards section with a grand total of 30 somtheing awards! somewhat pathetic but my inspiration has been kinda dead lately. Anyway I don't think I'll put up a new banner until next month since this update came freakishly late. - ace

Hello, I know I've been gone quite a while, sorry. I've just been crazy busy and my computer isn't letting me update the site so I have to do them from my dad's computer. Hey, guys. It's February and I've got the banner up. I've been working on some new vids lately and have been neglecting the site a bit. Sorry about that, life is just getting hectic. Affilates & Videos sections are being updated, changes of which should be up in the next few days. Also... drum roll... on FEBRUARY 24TH I will officially be SIXTEEN! Woohoo!
